Syed Moazzam Ali is a civil servant in the Government of Pakistan and has 30 years of professional experience at the Federal level. Presently he is working as Additional Secretary, Ministry of National Health Services Regulations and Coordination and is dealing with policy, development, administrative and financial matters of the Ministry besides coordination with development partners for implementation of international commitments in health sector.
Before joining Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, he has held other important positions in the Government of Pakistan as Secretary, Benazir Income Support Porgramme (BISP), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Senior Joint Secretary, Prime Minister’s Office as well as Director General, President’s Secretariat. He holds a Master’s degree in Poverty Reduction & Development Management from University of Birmingham, United Kingdom.
