Kieran oversees the foundations engagements with and collaboration amongst the Global Health Agencies (WHO & UNICEF) and Funds (Global Fund, GFF, LLF, UNITAID, WB Anchor Trust Fund, Pandemic Fund), including on issues such as product access, health systems strengthening, and pandemic preparedness. His role includes acting as the Board/governance member representing Private Foundations for the Global Fund, GFF, UNITAID and Pandemic Fund. He has been at the foundation since 2011, having overseen portfolios across HIV, TB, Malaria, NTDs, Pandemic Preparedness and Response, and Global Health R&D. Kieran has an academic background in development economics and anthropology, with an M.Sc in Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Over the last 25 years he has held various roles, from CEO to Senior Advisor, for various non-governmental health organizations. Kieran brings to the foundation extensive experience in multilateral, international and national health financing, programming, policy and advocacy.
