The Pandemic Fund

The MFAT division that Deb leads covers New Zealand’s engagement with, and funding to, multilateral development organisations, New Zealand’s international humanitarian policy and action, and international development and humanitarian partnerships with New Zealand NGOs.  Her previous roles with the Ministry include Deputy Director of both Humanitarian and Pacific Regional programmes. Prior to joining MFAT, Deb was a manager at the Office of Treaty Settlements in the Ministry of Justice with responsibility for leading policy and negotiations on the settlement of historical claims under the Treaty of Waitangi. She has also been a policy officer with the National Council for Voluntary Organisations in the United Kingdom.
